Was that 'silver collar' a definitive mistake? How is possible such a big mistake? I know it's unnoticeable at first, but damn...

I just ordered him! Gonna be my first real Robocop figure. Always wanted one. I remamber when I first seen McFarlane one... Never had the chance to get that one, sadly. But lately, I was really satisfied with NECA stuff, so I just thought to give their Robo a chance. It was either him or Hicks from Aliens, Reese from Terminator or Isaac from Dead Space 2.

You should also get the gun leg holster Robo, I own him and the 'damaged' one and I have to say the gun leg holster Robo is one of the best versions of the character in figure form in that scale/price range.

Well my combo of collage and part time job, really dont let me go all out for all the movie collectables I would have wanted... Heck, I probably wouldnt be able to get them all if I were a Bill freaking Gates! I mostly afford a NECA figure every few months. This time it was a tie between Kyle Reese (I LOVE THE ORIGINAL TWO TERMINATORS!), BD Robo, Isaac Clarke from the Dead Space 2 and Hicks (What can I say? Michael Biehn is awesome!) from Aliens.

Would you say NECA BD Robo is worth the price? (Kinda late now, but I am curious about your opinion). My iconic Robocop image always sported some sort of battle damage and I heard that the paint work is pretty superior to the first NECA Robo.

Seeing how I have a tendency to keep my figures in original packaging I am not too attracted to the whole "spring loaded holster", though I do admit its awesome they managed to do it right!

I may eventually get that Robo, but I usually tend to buy only one figure per line (except Predators, I have three of those).

well the 'damage' is not bad but I was hoping for damage more along the lines of how he looked post shoot up scene in the OCP garage by the Detroit PD. He is still a nice figure, I have to hand it to Neca they do good Robo figures. I have 3 of them, the big 18" talking one, the battle damaged one, and the one with the gun leg feature. As for the gun leg one it is probably the best representation of that feature in any figure to date. My ONLY complaint is the gun is hard to get in and out of the leg, but the actual pop open feature is bloody brilliantly done in the scale/price range. If I was to buy only one Robo in that scale it would be the gun leg one, you still get the separate fist with the data spike as you do in the damaged one and the first issue (the one that came out before the damaged one).

I just got mine! Its pretty awesome, details are amazing, face sculpt is really cool and there are no paint smudges on the wrong places! I was kinda affraid, because of ordering online and not seeing the product first hand while buying it, but in the end the only flaw was the slightly bent piece of soft plastic on the side of his elbow that acts as the artificial joint. I think that would easily be fixed by pressing it back to the position as the only thing holding it bent is the big plastic bubble in which its packaged. That is if I were to open it (I dont intend to do that). Anyway...

Finally a Robo figure in my collection. I waited 20 years for that, but here it is! And its awesome!

CroRoboCop, my damaged Robo had the same issue, it is easily repairable, grab the part of the arm where the lower arm connects at the elbow joint and grab onto the upper arm and pull the lower arm off, then soak the lower arm in some warm/hot water for a few minutes. then push the parts of the arm that are going away from the arm towards each other for about a min or two, release, then reconnect the lower arm to the upper arm, repeat with other arm if needed. I did that to my damaged Robo and it is still holding that shape, good luck Wink.

Thx for advice, but I dont mind it. I am keeping it boxed, so I dont plan on fixing it. Should I ever take it out, I will consider fixing it.
