Lol.. ahem!
Interesting you'd use the RoboCop 2 theme to start, that's the second time I've heard it in connection with the remake.. Of course you're just using tracks from all three films, but.. well, whatever. Something else.
Anyway, other than the sound issues with the location audio (which probably was a crappy mic), that was an awesome video - Awesome to see those guys and red carpet and all that.
Again, thanks for sharing.

I think there was enough marketing but i tink that people in brazil really con't care about Robocop. maybe was the titel Robocop Gay better to attract more people. (because there's a music band in brazil with the name Robocop Gay)
A premiere like this, i've never seen before in my entire life. This is really a SHOCK. i wonder what Padilha, keaton, Joel, his kid and sony and MGM are thinking of this.
We can Bet. A new Robocop will never it the cinema again. Maybe only a very cheap Robocop for video on Demand? like how universal Soldier turned out?
To be honest they should change the tile of Robocop. in 87 Orion really didn't like the tile of the movie and most of people if you say Robocop they will laugh. It's not a powerfull name like, The Terminator,Die Hard, Predator, Aliens or prometheus.
Robocop the franchise is officially DEAD. |
No man. it's pretty normal we get these premieres here in brazil!
Avengers had a premiere here, with all the crew of the movie for exemple. XD
I wish they could make this premiere here in são paulo then in rio instead XD

This is some good footage you recorded here. I have to say I'm impressed with the life size statue, I don't know if that'll ever show up again or be put up for sale or in an auction, but it does look pretty cool.
The footage with Padilha, Kinnaman and Keaton are all good and that duck on the red carpet cracked me up a little too. 
My only gripe with the video is the massive lack of audio (not the music score, I mean from the camera footage), I could barely hear anyone most of the time. Unless you didn't use a microphone or the camera had a terrible built-in mic.

you're right! i used a GoPro HD Hero 2 camera, it's more appropiate to capture extreme sports images in daylight.
I wasn't with my external mic that needs to be attached to GoPro getting high quality sound.

Kinnaman was so close. I was hoping you would mention the archive to him but oh well, still very cool. Ed-209 duck was great. Very intimidating.
You would think Padilha would get more support there, kind of sad actually but a cool experience none the less. Did you get into the premiere to watch it?

Yeah ... I expected more support here in Brazil, but the fans liked the movie. I did not watch the movie because the session for fans started before the entry of the actors, then I preferred to see the actors and watch on Friday.

I think RoboCop 2 theme is very well connected with second movie, and so I decided to resurrect it.
I was not with my external microphone to connect to the camera, so the audio was not good, but at least I got good shots to remember.

exact! would be much better to realize the premiere in sao paulo. here in rio de janeiro, the people are more disconnected.

Realy Lucky you... but for me the real hero at the red carpet is the duck 
I liked that statue too, but it's very dark at my monitor.
Evil that there are so less people. I wished i were there... but SW 9456.5 km from your home location... is a little to far away.
When there is more stuff, i'd like to see it.
