Ah, I'm kinda color-blind. I mean, there are some shades and colors I really have difficulties distinguishing.

I keep jumping between different parts when something starts to drive me insane, so it's taking forever to call any suit part really finished, buuuuuuut the rear of the helmet is almost done. Just need to add a couple of scribed lines and bolt details, and when that's finished I can finalize the back half of the chinguard. Blech, this entire suit is some crazed optical illusion.
I can't wait till the OCP POLICE · 001 text is on the band. I tested it out with a bump map, but it really needs to be modeled in for the proper effect. _________________

95% done! After adding the cuff bolts and cleaning up some beveling, it's down to the internal support brackets.

Thanks, guys. I've shifted focus to the lower legs for the moment (there are some strange hardware choices on the piston mounting block) but rendered this out for fun.
I'll hopefully have the left leg finished on Wednesday, then I can pump out the right fore thigh panel and, with a few changes in bolt placement, have the right leg done on Thursday. Thank Zeus for bilateral symmetry!

Awesome and amazing work, Trap. Really like the bonus render you gave us, makes me SOO wish there was a goddamned RoboCop game out now.. Bah!. Anyway, lovin' it!
(Keep in mind I could post that with every image you post up, but I'm trying to limit myself.. Yeah I know, strange from an asshole that has 6000+ posts. But there it is. ) _________________ I don't wanna pay that, PhotoBucket. Now maybe you haven't heard, but I'm the guy in old Archive. Thank you! I've been thinking of doing some animation, but my concrete plans for the model are limited; I'm using it for my suit guide, and then simplifying it for use in Pepakura so I can finally have my own suit. I've been wanting to be RoboCop since the '80s, however even if there were accurate replicas out there, I really doubt they'd fit me! Making it myself has always been the only option.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I threw together a quick Auto-9 so I could have something to pose him with. I love that little teacup pinky thing Weller does with the Auto-9... one of the limitations of the suit being embraced and turned into a signature of it.
I've been needing to get back to the chest for a while, and renders with dramatic lighting really highlight that. Egads, there's some messy geometry going on there. _________________

Yes, thatīs a cool thing for a limitation. I use to do that on my Robo drawings as well
