Hey everyone,

Just sharing some progress on my personal Robocop suit. I'll be molding and casting the parts you see here.
This is my dream costume. So I'm really excited about finally getting to work on this after so long.

It was handmade using pepakura.
Here is the Torso Section and biceps ready to mold. It will be casted in semi-rigid urethane resin when done.
Helmet is casted in resin as well from an oil based clay sculpt from quite a few years back.

This costume won't be 100% movie accurate but it'll make me happy to have it done.
for those wondering. It's designed for shorter people wanting to cosplay Robocop. 5'4"-5'8"ish height

Excellent work as always. I am starting my own build, just working out the kinks in the pepakura templates. If you dont mind me asking how did you do the helmet top. Ive been experimenting with heating the foam and forming it over a mould. Again, great work Smile

The helmet isn't foam. It's a clay sculpt (I mentioned in first post) and then molded and casted and then refined by hand sanding/filling /detailing to final look. Then molded and casted again.

AMAZING!!!! Your videos inspired me to get into foam building and its opened up a whole new world of prop possibilities. I'm working on a Robosuit myself and I've also made Star Trek phaser rifles out of foam with GREAT success.
