Wasn't there actually a full-on face sculpt under the helmet? Kind of like with their Keaton Batman (or that other company's Judge Dredd that had a fully sculpted face, but the helmet was glued on)...
Anyway, for what it's worth, you did a pretty neat job on this, both paint and sculpt-wise, though I do see the Putin resemblance.

I don’t know much when it comes to painting/sculpting figures or anything for that matter. And I do see the Putin resemblance but you did a bang up job with what you had. I can just imagine how hard it is to get those kind of details on a 7 inch figure. I’ve seen other attempts that were nowhere near that close.
