Wait, are you saying RoboCop was on last night on ITV? Or that it's been 25 years to the day that RoboCop first aired on ITV? Because from checking the TV guide I don't see any mention of RoboCop being on ITV last night. _________________

It was on ITV4 (not ITV) and is on again right now. I imagine it won't be the last time they show it. ITV4 is always repeating the same movies.

I can watch ITV 4 here in Ireland but didn't get to catch it. Apparently they edited it, according to some posts on Twitter and then some other posts were saying it was uncut. I'll have to watch it next time it's on to see what, if anything, was trimmed. _________________

I was generalising. ITV 4, ITV - same network. Won't be long before they schedule it again as filler on a Friday or Sat. night. The amount of times that I've seen "Red Heat" on there has been high. Then again, they played that to death on the 4th channel first. Guess it's a way of determining if a 30-year-old cult classic will draw a reasonable audience on premium airtime.
I didn't say it was 25 years "to the day", but with regards to what was cut from part 1, I noted that in the reply you acknowledged. When it returned for part 2, it was uncut. A strange MO. It was like anything that soon after the watershed was deemed inappropriate. Yet the nudity in the locker room with the white female officer was left in.

Lil update:
RoboDoc : | Only in the last 2 months have we been able to gain - 100s of never before seen photos - boxes of promotional materials and production documents - hours of rare and never before seen alternative takes of the filming of RoboCop - boxes of storyboards
It’s taken over a year to negotiate the licenses for the above materials and it’s well worth it.
Eastwood and Chris are now in the final stages of the edit and motion graphics. This is no ordinary doc - it is a complete scene by scene dissection of RoboCop with brand-new music and art especially produced for the doc. This doesn’t even touch the work that Chris is doing on RoboCop 2, 3, TV series, comic books and games. Much more than we originally set out to make and campaigned for! |

They normally do, but not of that one. Probably be another clip for the next FB post.

Sadly, still no firm release date. We should keep waiting.

And another "new". They´re trying to promote a new doc, based on Robert Englund, but they started with this:
RoboDoc : | With our Robo Edit Team literally in the finally stages of the edit (see numerous updates) our producers are gearing towards their next summer project... won’t worry the robo edit team aren’t involved and will be working on the edit! We know it’s been a long wait but take it from the horses mouth you will LOVE the doc - it’s visually stunning and packed full or rare info, images and footage. We really can’t wait to release this and want it out more than you lol! |

The 32nd anniversary of the first film is nearly upon this. With the team's original intention to hit the 30th two years back, perhaps we'll get a release date or more footage on Wed.
They got some shit recently for posting a Kickstarter link for their latest project unfortunately; the one about Robert Englund. I can understand why, but it prompted them to admit that "RD" is in final post and nearing completion. If so, may mean a finished edit. Would be great to see this over the summer...just wish we were getting the sequel and series material as well.
Not to sound ungrateful, but I reckon what new information there is to digest will mostly be about the technical aspects of the production, such as the sound design, etc. There's only so many ways that a director can convey what they intended to accomplish. Weller had a point declining on those grounds.
