i did this torso many moons ago. my skills back then was ok. but with all the new things iam going to redo this peace and change it. iam going to get it as close as i can to the real thing. ill up load photos as i go on. so here we go a other robo build

Gez,
Any progress? The one I had purchased from you years ago ripped apart under its own weight when I tries to put it on. I have since made repairs but would love to get a new one when it is ready. Thanks!

To Gez (or anyone else), My torso that I bought from you 2 yrs ago has now completely sheared apart under its own weight. It looked great but I was only able to wear it 1 time. For $600 it was a bit much for something worn once.
My suit is currently not usable w/out a midsection. Does anyone know where I can reliably find a mis-section !?
Has anyone tried using the 3D printed version for sale on line?
Robocop is my favorite suit to wear, I really need to find a midsection. Gez, how is your rebuild coming along? Have you solved the tearing apart issue from the first batch?

sorry to her your bad news on your torso . i was not the one to make the torso it was a friend called carl on who you paid . after you told me tht it spilt i stopped all torsos from him as i dont wank that risk . nd ask for any rubber parts i make them my self now as i know what is tobe used . on the new torso iam building it going to be a lot better and using silicone and a matting in the torso with a zip at the back. ive done many tests with the neck seals i have made and they are very strong and will last . and i told you once my torso is made i will look after you . but i feel this is a jab at me now. when it was not my work .

new torso going well, its not far off looking like the real thing now, been hard work , been on and off it while i been on other robocop builds. will show photos soon

Not to squash Gez's ambitions here, but in the meantime, I have ordered and received an excellent torso made of plastic but 10 times better quality than the original Bruce Hansing version (which came with my suit). It is a nicer, thicker and easier to wear version of the hard plastic complete with Velcro straps
It is available through a costume maker (Robotcostumes) on eBay in the States:

He is reasonable, reputable and ships quickly. I believe he can even make an entire 1987 Robo suit.
