I've been dying to get my hands on the ED-209 model kit they made and now they're doing Cain too?! I'll check with my local hobby stores if they can get me these and if not...well, off to Japanese retailers

my girls working on that ED 209 as we speak, and if that cain is articulated, Im seriously gonna do a stop motion with it.
Cains secondary arms dont look size accurate but I think they look better oversized

Yeah, the Ed-209 is awesome. You just have to paint the rails in the legs and iirc the feet needed some customization to work properly.

Looking super snazzy. I have had plenty of Robos and Ed-209's over the years but never had a figure or any kind of Cain merchandise. What is the price range like for these products?

Probably around 100€. Building something like that is actually a lot of fun and in the end you have a figure that is more articulated than most of the other stuff you can buy.
They are usually molded in color, so look pretty good, but if you want it to look real, you need some paintings skills.

I used to enjoy doing model kits at a point in my youth. I even had the RoboCop car, but never actually built it because when I opened it up it seemed a little underwhelming so I left it in the box lol... I would be willing to take another try at building one of these, the Cain one should certainly be a good challenge. However, the price is always a factor for something like this. I will personally probably wait to see what others think of it and check out their photos before making the decision myself.

I think there's a good chance, as the Alien Powerlader they just put up for pre-order has moving pistons.
