RoboCop 2 and 3 for the first time on DVD.
A strange thing I noticed that it's an EDITED version of R3. All the signs in the movie (like the setting ones - Caddilac Heights, Detroit; Kanemitsu World Corp etc) are removed and replaced with subtitles and the letters on the "Delta City Commercial" intro are totally gone.
Can anyone tell me why is that.

I would perhaps say its one of things they intentionally edit and try to actually make you notice, and therefore actually WATCH the film in the first place.

I ain't fallin' for it, though. tongue

I saw 'The Fugitive' in full the other day. Pretty nice movie, despite all the improbabilities in it.

And Harrison Ford looks like a damn hobo when he has a beard.

I just watched child's play 3 and I must say that that is the most disturbing creepy thing ever. I remember watching it in my childhood and now I see why I have the fear of factories and creepy dolls.

Saw Terminator: Salvation today with a buddy. Not bad at all.

Go see it. It's a decent summer film. Helluva lot better than Wolverine. That's for damn sure.

I second this! Wolverine I personally thought stunk.

I just came back with my mother, took her to go see it for her B-day. This was very good, but not that great. For me, T1 still cant be topped no matter how bigger the budget, also sadly its not the same without Arnold. Havinbg said this, I feel the R-rated DVD will make this film even better.

thats just what they do with DVDs. like in star wars where they've taken away the printed subtitles and replaced them with DVD subtitles. its for the anamorphic between panscan and widescreen tv's, so you can read read them either way. and i'm guessing the letters on the commercial intro are just a mistake? dunno.
if you want to see a weird DVD transfer check out demolition man, where all the references to taco bell have been changed to pizza hut. very odd.

past couple days i watched-

I thought it was kind of ironic that it was a Cav wearing the number 23 putting down the game winning shot just like the guy who wore number
23 for the bulls killed the Cavs with that game winning shot so many years ago.

I didn't like it much. It's not a bad movie, but lacked something the other Star Treks had.
