Delayed for over a month the fourth issue is finally here and with that the opening arc concludes! OCP makes its move and the Old Man wants Robocop's body, who will win, who will lose and how many bodies will be left in their wake!

The covers blow. One has a horrible chestplate, best part of it is the gun protruding, and the other one... WTF? Is Robo standing on Ed's arm or some shit. It's like the other covers, one has Robo mysteriously falling with random objects, and the other he's fighting landscape barrel gun ED in the good the bad and the ugly. I would definately be a better cover artist. Hmph!

I think the covers are perfectly fine, nothing great but ok. The only problem is as always that they have nothing to do with the actual issue. This is the second cover with robo holding a minigun yet he never goes near one in the story. However, as before, I'm interested to see how they finish the story and what other stuff they got planned for Robo.

Of course, you can't say a thing like that without backing it up, so grab some pencils and show us what ya got! Wink

Finally ! The story does not is exactly what we wanted, but every month I really look forward to them.

I would just like to know what they were doing so long time . They were re-writing the story or what ?

I will surely take the first cover ! Of course with a small mistakes but still great ! Smile

Ahh, so sweet and sexy version of Alex Murphy Smile

I think I found that mistake too, but you are right: Human Murphy looks very nice. Very Happy

I shouldn't look at this.. 'cause I have only nr 1.
It is so evil for me to get the issues, 'cause we don't have a good comic-seller here... and shipping is expensive. Sad

Interesting panels. That second cover looks ok but I gotta agree with Demise on Robo's position - it seems he's standing on the ED.

And Robo looks like he's about to yawn in that first one. tongue

Although I despise the cover art, the scenes there where Robo is back to his former body is pretty surreal. I assume they are in a simulation of somesort, or some kind of dream state. I have to say that I am sold because I really want to see what is going on there and how it turns out.

What hell and torture, being in some simulation as his former self. How could he ever want to leave. I think there will be a big decision to be made on his part, and no matter what he chooses he will lose... He will lose his metallic body, or his life all together.

God damn, I am getting back to writing my short story about robo... And by the way I already had this type of thing in my story... Although It doesn't involve the old man, and I'm sure it turned out differently than it will in this comic. But I am intrigued. Hope to finish my short story in the next month or so. But I refuse to force it or push it. I want it to be something that you guys would actually enjoy reading. Although you will have to suspend disbelief... But how hard can that be for us? I mean, we do love a story about a brain running around as a Robo-Cop.

Yep, hmm I dont think that was a luck idea . Maybe if he was standing on a part of building with the big gun and with Ed standing a little bit under him, it would be more realistic . Rolling Eyes

At last, issue 4 will be at my comic book store on Friday!

I must be the only one who likes the Robo only cover - just because it is most visually attracting - just concentrate on robo rather than havig to look at all the nitty gritty stiff going on in the other one.

Looking at the first few pages looks promising - to me it seems like a VR world where Robo can be human (and meet Dick Jones once again) - could be an interesting concept to explore - something that shouldn't have taken four non descript issues to get to.

Though I don't want to get my hopes up again only to be disappointed, so roll on Friday before I start making full judgements..!

Just got this today, and of course read it in like 3 minutes or so.

Besides a character that has been around since the start of the comic series getting killed, nothing else was really concluded.

So I suppose this story arc shall drag along a bit longer.

Also once again, the covers are full of shit. No Mini Gun, no interaction with Robo and Ed-309 what so ever.

I'd still love to know why this issue was delayed for so long.

Let's see how they handle it, I'm sure at some point they'll come up with something badass. I for sure liked the Dick Jones and the Old Man references as well as the Alex Murphy thing.

Almost, Terminatorish, but in a Robocop twisted kind of way...
