Repo Men. No, not the Emilio Estevez movie about garbagemen or someshit. No this is some futuristic jaunt through the eyes of an artificial organ collector.
People get artificial body parts and when they can't make the payments on the organs, these repo men come and quite literally cut the organs right out of them for reposession.
It drags on a little bit, and I don't quite understand the purpose for the collection (It never really says if they reuse the organs or not), so it is kind of odd, but I think that the ending of this movie is so good. It's so creepy, it's scary; and to tell you the truth I don't know of anything more closely related to RoboCop minus the organ reposessions. The ending just makes the movie. If I was a little "not so happy" with the movie in its entirety, the ending sure made it just a real good movie, in my opinion.
But It really does draw many parallels with RoboCop. I recommend you watch it.

For about a week there we had no cable so me and the folks spent the time watching DVDs, several loaned by friends and such, so we've been watching quite a bit of shit.
Of course, me and my dad burned through R1 and R2, and talked about it quite a bit. In addition we watched a bunch of other stuff. Most of it I've posted on here before but a few different things, one of which was Public Enemies a pretty kickass film I was happy to see again and have my dad check out. Also finally got him to check out Sin City, which he liked alright.
He also put me on a couple of things himself. One of them being the original Walking Tall. Another excellent classic that didn't need a remake to shit on it. Yeah, the original's setting is in the (at the time) contemporary south, but overall was way more satisfying. The base story is the same between both original and remake, but the secondary aspect was actually just plain old 'doing what's right' getting rid of a criminal enterprise, and it didn't have the personal ego bullshit like in the remake.
Another one me and my dad just finished watching was one he's told me about for some time, and that I only caught pieces of here and there. An old-timey film, but an excellent one. Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. Just fuckin' wonderful piece of cinema.
Also watched our fair number of war films we had (including Heartbreak Ridge, which for a minute didn't want to play on our damn DVD player).
Of course we got the cable back on so that's come to an end, but it was fun to burn through some stuff with some of the folks and all. _________________ I don't wanna pay that, PhotoBucket. Now maybe you haven't heard, but I'm the guy in old Archive. So hows about you just shit snow for a year and I'll figure out something else. Sayonara!

I had Indiana Jones marathon:
1.)"Raiders of the Lost Ark" - first and the best in the series. When I watched it, I felt again like an 10-year old boy, who watched this for the first time in the grandma house, on big TV-set in early 1990's.
2.)"Temple of Doom" - I don't know, why it is so hated... I's more intense, more funny but also darker - but it works.
3.)"The last Crusade" - Excellent last episode of the trilogy. I really liked the comedic relationship between Indy and his father.

Just watched Rocky I for the first time. It was damn good. I wanna go out and box now. Pretty inspiring.
A buddy from work let me borrow one through three. So I'll be enjoying those for next few days.
P.S. - Repo Men was absolute bollocks. _________________ All of humanity is of my creation. They are all the ways I could have lived my life, but didn't. All the possibilities I missed. The reason for their existence is to give contrast to my ego.

RoboDemise : | Repo Men. No, not the Emilio Estevez movie about garbagemen or someshit. |
Hahaha I actually just watched this last night. Well, Repo Man, not Repo Men. With Mr. Estevez.
Man, that cheesy ass trailer had me hooked. "Don't look in the trunk officer.", "Well now I have to open it" HORRIBLE 80'S-TASTIC ZAP!
Horrible acting and horrible plot, but it's just good and old enough to be entertaining. Plus it has that awesome song by Iggy Pop in it.

Fucking Repo man with Emilo and Henry Dean is a fucing punk rock classic!!
If you want a badass movie to watch with an early punk rock tutorial then you need to watch Suburbia... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086589/
Me and friends used to walk around my small desert town of Mojave thinking we were T.R. (the rejected)
Just watched WW2 in HD again. _________________

Haha NICE! I'm a little wary of "punk rock" films, but that looks like a good one.
I'll have to see if I can find a copy somewhere. Or just innocently steal it off the internet.
Here's the trailer for for anyone interested.

Man, I need to go to another punk show.
*EDIT*
Actually here's a link to the whole movie on youtube. Don't ya just have to sit back and smile lovingly at the internet sometimes?

Just watched edge of darkness. Thought it was pretty good. I liked it. I don't know if I liked it enough to watch it again, but... Also watched As good as it gets. Fuckin Jack Nicholson is just the man, the absolute man. I can't say that there is anything he's done that I don't enjoy. Fuckin nut.

Yeah, Jack is a shining example of "the shit".
I'm not going to jinx him by saying it, but you all know what I'm trying to say.
Btw, Edge of Darkness looked pretty brutal. Does it carry on that way through out the film? _________________ All of humanity is of my creation.
