MGM Home Entertainment will release Robocop Trilogy on Blu-ray on October 5. No information regarding technical specifications or special features is known at the moment, nor has it been disclosed whether the trilogy will reuse the existing (and barebones) Robocop Blu-ray.

I doubt there will be but I live in hope.
The cover looks good but it's a pity they didn't use the proper RoboCop logo....

I agree with Paddy about the cover - good image but should have used the original logo.
Not likely they'll have a lot of extras though. Sounds like they're just taking the current Trilogy DVD to a Blu-Ray transfer. Probably the same stuff. Maybe not, might be some more stuff. Then again, might be even less.
Still, Trilogy on Blu-Ray. Well that's cool.. that's, that's cool man.

Still, I might buy it, but if it doesn't have any realy features, I'll probably give it a miss

Nice to finally get all movies in HD.
Does anyone have any other sources for this, like if it will be released worldwide or only uk? I checked Amazon and no info on this there.

Given the quality of the other transfers for the original Robocop on Blu Ray, I would have to wait and see some reviews before I picked up the trilogy set on Blu Ray. Overall I am still okaywith the quality of the transfers on the standard DVDS.
The one thing that would make this a outright buy for me if the sequels had some special features.

Robocop 2 extended, that would be a dream but would never happen. Still though, its day 1 buy for me.

I think there is absolutely zero chance of it containing any extras with Robo2 and Robo3. The HD transfers already exist as they have been showing them on TV for some time now, so they are basically just putting them on a disc.
That said, a small part of me is still hoping for a extended cut. How futile it may be.

Could only wish for cool new extras damn theres just so much Robo 2 on the cutting room floor it would make for an awesome deleted scenes section..And how about a commentary track from Kirshner before he croke's....Robo 3 I like a commentary track from Dekker he could probably shed some new light on the problems with the film..So many crappy movies get these kinds of feature on dvd and bluray..It seems for Robo 2,3 however a genuine raapeing of the fans is again in order...
