These are pics of them setting up the HT booth for AniCom in Hong Kong. The figures aren't painted but the improvements, from what I can tell, are amazing. The new ED has the correct single barrel right arm and the legs look to be totally articulated judging by the flaps. And Robo is definitely better than the first figure. Proportions look spot on an it sure looks like they got the rights to Weller's likeness. If not, it looks very close. Scroll down a bit

I guess I'll have to sell my ED and original Robo and Robo w/jet pack to be able to afford these. Not to mention Cain. I'll have to sell a kidney to afford him. I hope they show him soon.

I wonder how much these will cost.
Obviously more than the previous versions due to new things (ED's articulated legs for example) and the fact Hot Toys' RoboCop seem to be in demand.

I'm not sure about the cost. People are estimating ED to be around $300. Not sure about Murphy though. I haven't really paid attention to their figure prices since I bought mine back in '06 or whatever. I think Robo was around $150 and ED around $200?
What I WAS paying attention to though was that protrusion on the outer part of ED's right cannon. I have a picture here that has slightly better resolution and it looks to be a missile armed and ready. Now that'd be sweet!

Anyone think there will be a plastic dome on ED this time around?
ED truly is looking lovely although I'm not liking Robo's head for some reason. I am however looking forward to the finished products and seeing them side by side with the older versions.

That´s what I thought too. Using rubber for the old robo-line was a stupid idea. I hope they realized that aswell.
The articulated legs for ed209 look cool, but I think the mouth is not deep enough. Could be just me.
I thought about buying one of the old ed209s for a long time, but I don´t really like 1/6 scale and the articulation was a bit weak for such a big figure. Also 1.000 € for a piece that initially cost 150 € is not a good deal. So now we might get robo, ed and cain for close to 1.000 €.
Oh, and I think robo´s head looks very good. Once the paint is on, it will look much better than the previous version.

Robo's head does look better but I don't think it's a Weller sculpt. Could be the lighting and lack of paint but it does look less cartoonish than the previous one. Much better sculpt over all. Finger articulation too. Someone on FB had a close up shot of one of the place cards in front of the figures that read: "ROBOCOP W/MECHANICAL CHAIR."

Well I was thinking of getting a the new hot toys robo but that new ed209 is a thing of beauty.
I might have to save up for the ed209 instead as that would look great next to my battle damaged original one.

The new ED is quite a nice surprise but I was expecting some fresh CAIN news.
Now I want to see some photos of Enterbay Robocop _________________

Still not perfect, but Robo is far superior to the original release. They actually picked a single suit and stuck to it (RoboCop 2) instead of mixing and matching elements, fixed a lot of the proportion issues, etc..
I like that the shoulders are a separate piece to allow for some of the undercut details. But the lower arms/cuffs are all kinds of screwed up, and the curvature of the shoulder opening is a bit wonky, meaning inaccurate and the range of motion will be inhibited. I think I can spot a second scribed line behind the shoulder rings, and if that's the case, AWESOME. I love the idea off replicating the RC2 suit down to its splits and seams. Oh, and accurate inner elbow inserts? Yes! The exact same pieces are used on the inside of the knees, so they better not screw that detail up!
I hope clearer pics come soon, I want to know if they replicated the clips properly... they are NOT just extruded rectangles, as most people assume. _________________
