This is fantastic news. While I feel Laurie would have been excellent in the roll, Keaton has a charismatic quality that equals him. He's already proved in other projects that he can pull off serious and even semi-evil rolls.

When was the last time he had a fairly big role in something? To be honest, I thought he retired.
Either way, this rules. I like him much more than Laurie.

Though I was already a member years ago, I am happy to be back again!
Just want to say this is probably some of the best news I've heard so far surrounding the Robo re-boot project.
Keaton is one of my favorite actors, often underrated I feel. Keaton possesses both excellent comedic skills as well as more serious/dramatic skills, ergo he can do anything to make this memorable role.
He will be perfect in the role. The fact he accepted the part should also say something about this project, his choices are almost always sound ones.
