Why can't they just replay originals on the big screen then making remakes. Id love to see R1 on the big screen! I saw R3 on the big screen. _________________ Roobocop // The future of Australian justice...

I saw all three in the theater. I remember being disappointed with the third one though.

I saw the remake recently in a cinema, it was one of those cinemas with HUGE SCREENS, like IMAX but not quite, to give the 'best experience' for audiences when they're watching action films, which is what IMAX is made for anyways. I thought it looked like shit, but I already made a review on that and I don't want to talk about it again. _________________

Since I was only 2 in 1987, the answer is no, I didn't. But considering my emotional status, that was a good thing.
I watched RoboCop on VHS in 1991 with my dad. Was 6.
The only Robo movie that saw me in a cinema was the 2014 remake.

I think just about all of us can now claim we have seen a RoboCop film in cinema. So now the thread has lost part of its reverence.. Bah. _________________ I don't wanna pay that, PhotoBucket. I was 7 when the first one came out, so no, I did'nt watch it in the cinema.
I watched the old robocop cinema films on vhs, then they came to the uk.
I watched the reboot in the cinema. Absolutely awesome film.
I'll see the sequal in the cinema, if/when, it comes out.

Only with the new movie I had this experience. Does a screening in home cinema count?
It was when Burton's ''Batman'' released back in 1989 and I watched this together with ''RoboCop'' in my godmother's son home cinema.
What a blast!!!!!

I actually didn't see the new one in theaters. I saw a bootleg a couple days before I was gonna go and didn't think it was worth seeing in the theater. I never got to see Robocop on the big screen and going to the remake wouldn't have changed that.

Not the fact that you were too young for Robo when it came out,But explain exactly why you feel 2014 was awesome..I'm about to full on debunk this "how Awesome 2014 is" stuff..Go ahead and like it,We all like different stuff.Afterall that's the spice of life..But 2014 is a terrible film in almost every aspect.I like Megaforce its very near and dear to my heart but I'm fully aware its a terrible stupid film. We're far enough away from the whole debacle of the last 2 yrs. of people joining the archive just to troll and push the reboot as being awesome and great "most of them have long since left".Just to be clear I don't want you tp leave your a fan you belong here. And not for one second do I think your Trolling..But really now...Whats so great about it?

It's not one of those rubbish Marvel films for a start. You know, the ones that get a good critical reception and make a fuck ton of money.

2014 Robo was a good flick for about 10 seconds when he was in the silver suit and the camera was beside his head. Thin the cgi legs came in and I could still deal. But that was it for me. Best part of the movie. That side shot. Could have started and ended there and got best picture and all that!
