Robocop head sculpt

Well i was a member ages ago but lost the link to this place when i changed my PC
I'd started a sculpt of robo and lost interest when i couldn't find a helmet, well i found one and now i'm planning on finishing the head once i get halloween out the way.
Heres the rough sculpt, its now sat on the shelf were i left it

And the helmet, not the greatest sculpted thing in the world, the details are very soft and the writing is almost gone, i've bought the moulds for this also

It'll do for a display helmet, i plan on doing a couple of versions battle damaged etc

Thanks, its been a work in progress for over a year now, good thing its plastilene, got a few sculpts on the bench now, once i get them out the way, i'll sort this one.

It is!
Well yesterday, i carved the letters back into the helmet with my dremmel, fixed areas here and there with putty, still not 100% right but it looks better.
Waiting to get the first cast out, if there all like this i may just mould the reworked helmet, as i don't fancy carving it all out again

Heres the helmet after some work, still not 100% right, but it looks better than it did


And after the fresh helmet came out the mould worse than this one, i recast this one in a silicone mould with a plaster jacket

Note to self, get pics of mould before any rush buying!
Once i get a couple of nice days i'll run a new one out in fibreglass

Thanks, i'm busy making lots of halloween stuff, and the weather is terrible at the moment, to wet even for fibreglassing, so i haven't even used the new helmet mould yet.
