I was just confused at first because there is that Avatar airbender movie coming out too, but now that I know this is not that I will be checkin it out. Probably not in theatres, think this one will be a rental.

This movie has a lot of hype.. but I don't see why. I know it's draw is the eyepopping 3D, but the characters still look more cartoony than lifelike to me, and isn't that counterproductive to the point of this whole damn movie?

From being a title that most were interested in and looked forward to, it is funny how it is now hip and cool to bash the movie.

That's hype for ya. When people hear that something is "fantastic and best ever" too many times they will eventually become jaded and turn sides.

I still look forward to the movie, but the constant hype and praise is annoying.

I dont know, I hadn't heard about hype for this movie until I saw the trailer. It just looks bad.

It's made by James Cameron so it is pretty obvious that it will have SOME qualities worth the ticket price; the guy doesn't make half-assed products. I saw the 6 minute preview a few months back and it's certainly big and loud and uses the 3D gimmick pretty well.

I'll admit I'm not sold on the concept though, the overall "Pocahontas" story feels old and cliche and i fear the jar-jar effect of it all since 70% or so of the movie is in complete CGI.
