the guy on the table with the leg is Dennis Pawlik and the guy standing with the blond hair is Russell Towery, robocop stuntman for all 3 movies. White bearded guy is Mark irwin, the DP. The guy in the yellow shirt is Tom Irvine (greatest guy EVER!).
I don't remember the guy in brown to the left's name, but he was somehow connected to Forry Ackerman (look him up if you don't know, because you need it to fill out your "cool stuff I know about old movies" card )



The guy in the florescent jacket at bottom is Ralph Unger from Houston (he was the only other person besides me to be taken to Los Angeles from Houston for the month of shooting after principal photography was over).
At the time Ralph was heavily into the Art Car scene in Houston... the girl in the upper right is Continuity, I believe and the camera guys, well, try IMDB if you are interested

OOPS almost forgot. Sorry for the poor framing. The REAL photographer was framing these from waist up, but my little cheap kodak didn't have zoom, so I got what I could.
The older white guy is, of course, Irvin Kershner, and the cool guy in the long coat is Frank Miller...





plus, that means Peter did not have to wear the diaper (the fiberglass black piece that goes over his butt and joins to the piece that covers waist to crotch up front.
There was a metal square rod coming out of the front part that went to a square receiver on the back part, but I am sure anytime you can walk around without a metal rod between your legs is a good day...)

And I deeply appreciate the comments, questions, compliments, and Public Trusts. I appreciate the opportunity to share the materials I have had packed away so long...

this is as far as you will EVER see Robo in the full costume. There are certain things Robo could do like, well, walk. But getting up off the ground or out of a car...or stairs... forget it.



I think this was part of the LA shoot after principal photography. I also realized that I have a box of slides somewhere I need to dig out including the Robo-on-cycle vs. Cain-in-armored-car day. Not a good day.
Dick Hancock was coming off the motorcycle on the 3rd run and as he came off he caught his feet on the handlebars. Really unpleasant + a couple days in the hospital.
