The ultimate killing machine meets the future of law enforcement. In the Terminator's future all humanity must be wiped out, so when Robocop is woken from an enforced hibernation, Alex Murphy finds himself amongst the final hunted. But will his body side with Skynet? Or can man finally overcome machines? Rising star Rob Williams (Ghost Rider, Punisher Max: Get Castle) and P.J. Holden (Battlefields, Judge Dredd for 2000 AD), create the ultimate tale of life and death for humanity in Terminator/Robocop: Kill Human #1 this July from Dynamite Entertainment!

Not sure about the new title though. Robo's name should always come first. And no "VS" ?!

Well that is interesting. Hopefully they can turn up the action as the previous Dynamite Robo comics were a bit of a disappointment.
I'm assuming the whole new title is a way to differentiate themselfs from the older Frank Miller title and create something of their own.

I'm interested. hopefully this comic run at least finishes its story and doesn't end in the middle of it.

Thats good to know that new comics with Robocop are preparing but again from Dynamite ? I am a little sceptical . They did not finished the old story yet ( yea, with every next issue that was worse and worse, but they could to do something with the story and save the series  But that ? it was vaste of time, paper and money )
Anyway. I will hold my fingers crossed .
Poster? Hmm, not bad, just I am not sure with the red-Terminator eye thrown in the Robocop visor .
edit : just found the cover without texts.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
So do we think it's a new story or a re-telling (seeing as that's where the Robo franchise seems to be going)?
The mention of "forced hibernation" does intrigue me though...

Yeah, from what i understand Robo wakes up and the world has changed and is overtaken by skynet or halfway there. Start action.
Miller's story was a lot more complicated and inventive as Robo turned out to be the cause of skynet; using muprhy's brain. But this new story could have some nice twist also, hopefully.

Hehe, sorry, i really don't noticed the link.
Anyways, i found this alternate cover a little weird, because the artwork *i think*, was draw for the original Dark Horse RvsT series.
Is this a early cover just to show the media the upcomming project?

Wish I knew, I haven't got my issues to check, though it has to be said, it's not a very well done image, both the hand and arm look like they aren't attached to Robo at all _________________ http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/1060/klfjustifiedancient.png

A re-made poster ? I hope their story will be much more original.
I am not fan of re-made stuff, coz almost always it has not so good queality as the original, but this "new" cover yeah , quite I like it .

Yes, i can see "art" on the "new" cover. I like it. I would make a bigger poster and put it to a wall. Its a kind of retro drawing too.

This is original artwork by Walt Simonson. The artist that did the pencils/inks in Frank Miller's RoboCop vs Terminator series by Dark Horse. It was used for promotional material for upcoming issues. Don't have my comic collection with me now, but I know it was featured in DHC's earlier Dark Horse Presents Series (which featured the likes of Predator, Aliens, Indiana Jones, and even RoboCop stories told in four parts). 1 comic, 3 split up stories. It was awesome.
The thing about Dark Horse, the Art may not have all been great, but STORY always took priority over art in the old days. That's what made them money. Adult stories before Marvel/DC started doing them.
Dynamite Press has the licensing/publications rights to RePrint those stories. And I can about bet, that probably what they're doing with this book.
HOPEFULLY!!! They will do a brand new story, like they said. But Artwork aside, (I'm gonna let the statement about Walt's art alone) I'm crossing my fingers that Rob Williams does a fantastic job with his story. Hopefully he doesn't just rewrite the same story again. I'd feel cheated.
It's bad enough I don't have a single copy of Dynamite's RoboCop at all. But I don't want to miss this.
