Ah, in my thread about the RoboCop figure I picked up from a charity shop (which turned out to be a fake it seems but for 30pence who cares, right?) what the best figure about the same size would be and this looks ideal. Love the poses you can do with it in particular. Have ordered one for £14.99 plus free shipping which seems fair enough. I'll do that helmet trick too if my one has his nose sticking out all dorky like that. I shouldn't really be spending money at moment but I've been after a quality RoboCop figure for years and it ain't like there's much else to buy for it whereas something like my movie Transformers figures for example where I can't just buy the one character, I gotta buy that one, and that one, and that one. At least with this that's pretty much it. Unless they do a ED209 or RoboCain as well. And to be honest I'd really like an Officer Lewis figure to pose with him but I guess that ain't likely.
Awesome photos by the way. They sold the figure to me easily.

Ordered mine on Friday after seeing this thread and it arrived on Saturday morning (but I was at my girlfriend's house at the time so had to wait til today to pick it up from post office. Sucked having to wait an extra day on top of that, damn bank holiday). Anyways I haven't noticed any problems with it and didn't have to do the nose helmet fix.
I'm very pleased with this figure. Finally I have an actually great RoboCop figure.
In absence of any proper RoboCop villain figures I guess I can use this Undertaker figure as it poses well and is a good size and certainly mean enough looking

Well, it arrived this morning, but have just opened it a short time ago.... not completely disappointed, but they could have done a better job:
Neca
With some of my other Robo figures
Now for some of the details... look away if you do not wish to know the results:
The paint job is terrible in some places! _________________ http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/1060/klfjustifiedancient.png

I will be getting out my model scalpels to remove some of the over-lap paint... I just hope my hand doesn't slip _________________ http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/1060/klfjustifiedancient.png

Strange. Apart from some minor silver showing through on the back of his forearm (which I quickly fixed) mine seems pretty much perfect. Seems to be a gamble no matter what action figure you buy though. I've seen batches of certain figures from Transformers, Doctor Who and such have faults or paint issues and other batches of the same figures be absolutely fine.
Anyways yeah I'm happy with mine. I've certainly no desire to buy the 18inch one. That's just too big for my shelves and way out of scale to any other figures I have.

Good picts guys.
Carnivac you have there something what I want so long time. The Mustang from the series.
I ordered my Nace a few days ago and have no idea when it arrive. I hope next week. I am really curious about the coloring now, when I see your "live" photos. The 18 inch Neca has quite good coloring but of course it is easy with a 18 inch figure, as with a 7 inch one.
a vid that i found around.

interesting....
NECA have previously said they were going to try for Weller's likeness for some unhelmet Robo's, but now have also said that they have some "big surprises" in store for next year, the 25th anniversary of RoboCop!
they've all but confirmed previously they want to do a battle-damaged one from the end of the film ( whether it does or doesn't have the helmet will depend on the Weller issue,i guess) ,and they've also previously let slip they were looking into ED-209 as well...
god,i can dream of a whole Robo series,can't I?!
RoboCop ( battle-damaged,no helmet, with Auto-9 and spike hand)
Anne Lewis (interchangeable helmet and no-helmet heads, with pistol)
Clarence Boddicker (with Cobra Assault Cannon and pistol)
"Melted" Emil
Dick Jones ( with silver gun)
Box-Set : ED-209

Zentron, The picture of the figure with the website as a background is gorgeous.
There seems to be a lot of flaws with the figure so i have not dared to order it online. It's one of those items i will have to pick up in a store to get a good look at it. The figure has a release date of 30 Sep in the UK though, so I'll have to wait quite a while.

yeah,it's a situation where it's a figure where you're not likely to get a "perfect" one....
funnily enough,i remember now hearing (and having it confirmed by people with knowledge of the toy industry and the toy comapny in question) how we were "THISCLOSE" to getting an ED-209 in the 7" sclae back in 2005 from McFarlane Toys....hell,they sculpted and fabricated it and everything! problem was, Todd wanted to put motion and sound features in it,and for the price point he would be asking for it ( around $50) , none of the chain stores at the time - TRU,K-B Toys,Suncoast,Spencer Gifts - that sold McF stuff were willing to stock it,thinking it wouldn't move at that price, and Todd refused to remove the sound and motion, therfore being able to put it out at a cheaper price,so it was cancelled....
