Yep, the collar error is present on all of 'em. I'm just thankful that I had a few dozen to sort through as 90% of them look like ass. I think of the collar issue is a huge mistake as well, thankfully though, casual fans don't pick up on it. _________________

I'd first like to apologize for the HUUUUUGE necrobump here, but I HAD to say something about this release!!
I was at my local Toy's R Us last week, and I finally got around to purchasing both NECA variants, which include the glow in the dark variant and the leg holster variant. I waited far too long to purchase these. I am now going to look for the battle damaged variant, and get two of those. And another leg holster figure to hold on to without opening it.
Anyway...
For the longest time, the McFarlane Movie Maniacs variant was my absolute favorite. The sculpt is spot on, even with the subtleties I can easily spot (Knowing the suit's nuances like I do, I can spot a LOT of things). Movie Maniacs did RoboCop justice.
And then I start observing the NECA variant much more closely. And it's growing on me. And just as with the film and the real life RoboCop counterpart, I can't take my eyes off of the damn thing (He is sitting on my shelf at work, which is where I am typing all of this from). So much in fact, I'm starting to like this sculpt much better. Which I'm actually having a hard time convincing myself of!! His proportions are much more accurate and his articulation, particularly with the addition of ball joints in his upper torso (Where the black part of his abdomen meet his chestplate) and neck, make him much more poseable. Let me tell you I was laughing my ass off looking at that first post's pictures. Again, I could go on and on with the infetisimal details between NECA's and McFarlane's and their differences to the actual suit sculpt wise. So I'll just close this post out with "The NECA variant is a solid addition for any diehard Robo fan."
But I'm sure all of you knew that already. Once more, apologies for the necro bump.
