Helldogg : | I think what would be interesting to see and what they should also do is a regular Murphy figure when he was just a cop |
Yes, I would certainly love a regular Murphy with the purdy hair and all, but sadly there's been nothing of the sort. If one of these companies can get the Weller likeness and actually execute it right I would be very interested. I have enough regular Robo figures already, when are we gonna get the rest of the cast? A Lewis figure is definitely necessary too.

Exactly, I'd love to have a complete cast, I think these companies fail to realize there is more potential then just Robocop himself I mean don't get me wrong I love a good Robo figure it just would be nice to include others cause they are just as important as Robo. Without them there wouldn't be Robocop in a sense as without Murphy no Robo, without Clarence Boddicker no Robo

While i agree i would like to see as many different characters as possible, maybe 5 people would in reality buy a Lewis figure. NECA would have to be out of their minds if they made it.
In fact i doubt anything but Robo,Ed and RoboCain would sell.

Why is the battle damaged ones always sub par I mean if you wanna do battle damage then by all means go all out and really tear him up like they did in the movie

I always hate that underneath the damage, it is always pristine and shiny, making it obvious it's the original design with crap thrown on it. I wish they would just start from the beginning and alter the paint color slightly so he doesn't look so fresh and shiny and clean underneath the damage.

I really like this. It would be cool though if they did the helmetless final scene version that busts into the board room and blows Dick Jones away. To me that would be the definitive "battle-damaged" version. If we could get that version, along with an Alex Murphy figure like someone else mentioned, then we could have a cool little collection that shows the changes and evolution that the character goes through throughout the film. And...again like someone else alluded to, it'd be nice simply to have new, unique versions of the character that no one else has done before. But I'd absolutely love to have a "final scene" Robocop figure.
Oh, and sorry I've not posted in like forever. (lol)

Looks like someone forget to paint the lower part of the neck black... They applied the silver paint on it
Anyway, I´ll buy the "normal, shinny" one by Neca. And would be nice to have the Hot Toys they´re working on it. If they apply the technology of the latest Dark Knight figures, would be a blast!

Good eyes there Chanood.
Christ, even the "high quality" prototype has a dodgy paint job. I really do hope that Neca do a better job on this one as normally the stuff they make is good. Plus I prefer the damage sculpt on this one than the McFarlane as the damage on that was just the chest and head.
