I too am a pretty big fan of this Idea merely cuz if you cant cast a strong enough Anne Lewis just come up with something new. I rather see a new character than see a weak Lewis which Nancy Allen played so well. And Gary Oldman being the guy to play off of isnt a bad thing for Joel Kinneman. I dont know if anyone has seen the killing but hes a really strong actor and with someone like Oldman im sure hell come off stronger. My main concern with the movie is costume design. The who eyes showing hmm not big on the idea. I remember reading here someone taking a statement by Kinneman out of context where he said Robocops armor will be more skin like and the person on the blog say what Robocop has armor like skin. Which Kinneman then said what he meant was that Robocop will be less bulky and the armor will seem more natural to him not that it was skin. Either way thats not my beef my beef is seeing Robos eyes with the helmet on seems wrong.

I'm betting on a CGI robocop for the most part of the movie. A little like Spidey and Iron Man.
Yeah we will get a few head shots but thats about it. Robocop should be raw, visceral.
Next we will see a remake of Star Wars with a St Bernard playing a wookie and R2D2 played by Henry the fucking hoover! (excuse my language).

While I hope it is not too reliant on CGI there will no doubt be some in there when it comes to the RC-2000.
The CGI in Iron Man was very well done. I believe it was by ILM who are the go-to guys when it comes to CGI, but what people forget is that CGI can be helpful especially when dealing with a practical suit.
If you look at the behind the scenes features of Iron Man the suit looks bollocks. That's because they fill in parts with CGI which allows the actor to be more comfortable in the suit (remember how much Weller ended up hating the RoboCop suit?).
And don't worry about the fucking language man.

I must admit iron man was a cgi triumph. He looked pretty solid in both build and performance. However, Spidey and the Lizard were two soft (focus) looking. Always ruins it for me.
Maybe there going to go for a kind of Schwartzy T850 look. And when he finally gets bashed up his true endoskeleton will be displayed in his face!
Great site by the way. Funny thing is i have been dipping my toes in it for years.

I'll hold my final opinions until I'll see more trailers and teasers.  Anyway, as I said in another topic, the suit design looks... a bit too much streamlined... :S

I'm up for change. I just think there should be a bit of self torture going on! In this kit, would you be really fucked off?
Maybe he will have shape shifting capabilities, what with all those segment/sections. A human transformer.. Bring on the decepticons. He might turn into a microwave

I watched the movie "Total Rekall" over the weekend. Eachtime I saw the police andriods I couldnt help but to think of it looking very similar to the new RoboCop design. Im a yay for keep Robo original
