Hey Mindchamber! Thanks for the compliment mate!  Ive not planned on rigging it as I'm making it so that I can print it off in 3D, then I'll have it as a cool statue in my living room ... or, maybe, if someone offers enough for it, in someone elses living room :P

Well after a couple of days slogging away at this I've managed to finish the legs!
Here's the 3D model to spin around in realtime

I'm going to spend another day preparing it to be printed then <gulp!> I'll look into having the legs printed out. As soon as I have something back from the printers I'll post the images.

Cheers guys! Really happy you're liking it It's been a hard slog, but I'm finally getting somewhere! Just noticed a few issues with the legs which I'll try and fix tonight then I'll look to having it printed out (after another sanity check to make sure everything is where it should be). Hopefully then in the next week or so I'll have a proper real-world model of the legs to show you. (assuming to print it doesn't cost me a small fortune! LOL!)

If you need Cain prop pictures to help with the 3D Cad stuff, just let me know.
If you do a 3D printing and are going to do more then one, I might be intereted in one.

Hey!
Sorry for no update over the last week. I've been sorting out the Cain legs ready for printing (needed to do some minor adjustments that have taken me the week to fix). Anywayyy, I've made a start on the upper half of the Cain robot but building the pneumatic midriff.
Here's a screenshot of it:
A big thankyou to Roboman2 for offering to send me some fantastic reference material, you're a star sir!
I'll be tackling some more of the chest area this evening and I'll post up some images when I have something to show (hopefully not too long)
