Rather nice. Have you tried giving the whole image a diffuse glow of about 0 Grain, 11 Glow Amount, 6 Clear Amount? It might look nicely ethereal!

Cool stuff. Simple but effective.

My only suggestion for the first picture would be to tweak the coloring a bit and add some type of a subtle frame or panel around the picture. At least to achieve more of a comic book type look and feel.
