Lol, put this and the red visor together, the film it's just getting so 80's! Even more than the original! I bet their hope is to sell lots of toys to the kids.
It's fun, the original film had to do without robo-turbocar and other frills because of low budget, but that made it somewhat more adult, real and intemporal.
I have to admit though if I were a kid in the 80's I would love that motorcycle.

The aesthetic matches with the suit but I don't like the idea of the RC-2000 having his own bike, and you never know, maybe even his own car.
It makes it seem a little like he's a superhero, almost like it's a requisite for him to have his own unique vehicle like Batman with his Batmobile or the X-Men with their jet.
It's another thing I like about the original. Apart from being a machine and having a different firearm Robo could be seen as a member of the force just like any other officer. He drives the same car and has the same facilities as his colleagues (minus his own little station and food dispenser) and even interacts with them.
Dredd flopped at the box office. My best guess for the reason could be that it was an 18 rated film which limits your audience, it was in 3D which turns some people off (myself included although Dredd was an exception), or that it was a property haunted by previous lackluster efforts or simply people didn't like the look of it.
It seems the reboot has some parallels. I was talking to a female friend who commented on Dredd saying it looked silly because of the way he looked and stuff like the Lawmaster. Seeing as both properties have had some dodgy incarnations in the past one can only wonder if something similar will happen at the box office.
Although, given it's a 12 rated film and it appeals to a younger audience in terms of design it may yet succeed. After all he looks like Iron Man and the cool kids dig Iron Man.

it has to be some sort of super-motorcycle otherwise it doesn't make much sense for him to have his own superbike just for the sake of the design. nevertheless i could pretty much live without it, i think a well equipped cruise like we've seen on those other pictures should do just fine.

Now, while I like to keep positive this is one element that I find very hard to accept. It doesn't become more non-robo than this.
Urghh...

I keep looking at it and keep coming to the same conclusion.
The damned thing looks as attractive as a cum lollipop.

Weirdly, I much prefer the Alpha Commando bike better than the others! _________________ http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/1060/klfjustifiedancient.png
