ChAnOoD : | Raymond : | then you read a different version than me lol. |
I remember the eye scene as well. Does that mean that we had two different drafts of the same script or what? |
Ok I get it. Had to go back and look. very minor SPOILER below
It never says he removes his eye, but he does some surgery on himself to remove a transmitter and later shows up missing an eye when he confronts one of the OCP villains,
That was from the january screenplay so might not even be in the movie. But personally I like the concept. That tracking device need to go no matter where Omnicorp put it. If they put it in the eye or behind the eye they are evil but hey we already knew that.

I could see this. I picture it as the defining moment when Murphy finally realises that he is nothing more than a product.
As the skin burns away and he sees the metal parts underneath, to his horror he comes to the realisation that it was never his hand but a rough approximation of one. All of the feelings he had felt were false, computer simulations of how a normal hand feels. He's been lied to by the company that had supposedly gave him another chance of humanity but had actually stripped it away.
It reminds me of the original where Robo confronts Jones and takes on ED. I get the feeling in that scene Robo actually understands that he is not indestructible and thus it was a harsh way to lean a lesson. |
That's awesome, you have a very good imagination. Would be sad to see something like that but at the same time it would give a lot of heart to the movie. I imagine that scene with this music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHBu83wTX58 (sorry, don't know how to insert a video)
And I imagined it with that song because it was composed by Pedro Bromfman, the same guy who will be in charge of the music for the new Robocop.

Still hope that he drives the car. But the bike does look f***ing awesome! i like how the design goes with the design of the new robo suit. Still though i think this is just a way for marketing to make a butt load of money on robo toys. Still keeping an open mind about this....

I wouldn't say awesome, looks just like a regular motorcycle, but with a few pieces attached to it, nothing really all that special... heck, I'd prefer the Alpha Commando bike over this lame thing! _________________ http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/1060/klfjustifiedancient.png
