Hi everyone,

I'm a really huge RoboCop Fan.

I'm building a replica Costume at the moment.

I've decided to vlog the process on my youtube channel.
This vlog will be a little different.

In honor to all the RoboCop fans, I've decided to make it entertaining for you and created a unique cinematic vlog format of the build process
rather than me just standing infront of the camera explaining what I have to show you.

I hope this format interests you and you follow my progress on the costume.
It will be an 87" paint job with a forearm machine gun for fun.

Update:
I've built some more parts for my suit. I started this project Jan 2012
I know it's very slowing going but here's a pretty big update on the project.

I apologize it's not in the cinematic vlog fomat this time around. I have a skit planned with a script and such but I don't have time to film/edit something like that right now. I do plan to continue this story when the suit is finished though. It will be fun to watch.

Please Check out the "RoboCop" Costume Build Progress Video.
If things go well tomorrow, I'm going to do a suit up video with most of the parts. Pretty hyped for that.

Thanks man. I honestly prefer the original color scheme. I think it would be the easiest to reproduce at home. I dunno about that tri color version.

i am doing the part 1 colours and they are not as easy as you might think, and all of the robo suits have blended colours, it's just about depth and saturation. i would probably say that part 1 in fact has the hardest (especially coming from Bottins crew) because it changes so frequently in different lighting and shots. almost pearlescent but not actually. always happy to give some tips if need be, and you can see some of the results i have been getting on my refurb thread Very Happy

I would appreciate any help on paint. I was thinking just find a silver with a slight bluish hue like a toyota silver and then airbrush some blue shade or something in the detail crevices to bring those areas out.

That's a ll I can think of at the moment. My 18 neca toy seems like it was painted that way, I wouldn't mind if it looked like that.
