That's the thing. I don't! There are some things about the trailer and the sneak peek that had me rolling my eyes so much I thought they would get permanently lodged pointing towards the sky. I have a habit of judging new movies and music too quickly and the majority of the time I'm proved wrong. It was my own sense of wanting something to be good and what I thought would make something good that was clouding my judgement. I'm trying not to be that way so am trying to not get as incensed as some people are over it. If this had have been a year or two ago I'd have been angrier than that guy in the Screen Junkies video and I'd be on here constantly shouting about how they have completely destroyed RoboCop and that I'll never watch the movie and will curse the day everyone involved with making it was born.
Yes, some things look good, yes some things look stupid or just plain weird to us based on what has went before and as I say our own ideas of what we expect and think will make it look good. I'm just holding off judgement until I've seen the entire movie. Getting annoyed about snippets isn't gonna do me any good.
Oh, and Robo flying through a window, somersaulting in the air and landing on top of ED-209 then throwing him off a high ledge in a building is supposed to be better than the Ed/Robo fight we got in the original. Hell to the motherfucking no! That, and the "Thank you for your co-operation" line sounds dumb in that extended sneak peek.
(See, I can be critical of the new movie!)

Ok...did I seriously just hear Robocop say "dead of alive YOU COMIN' with me?" Either someone is yet again showing their incompetence and providing a flubbed line for ET to use in a special, or Robocop is now speaking ebonics.
And I thought ET was going to premiere the second trailer. Did I misread that?

I'm happy to see that we'll be getting some Robo vs ED-209 action. Let's hope not all of it will be CGI jumping...
