After months of nothing but leaked pictures, we're now finally starting to get some OFFICIAL pictures to look at. (and the new trailer of course) These first few pictures focus on characters mostly, but also show some variations of the RoboCop suit.

That weird pic with the silver suit may be like the Total Recall droids, in the pics and videos behind the scenes they looked different than in the screen where they were slender and had digitally replaced parts to look more robotic. Maybe they just need to deform visual proportions to make it taller and thiner, look how even the chinguard looks ridiculously big.

It could also be a costume for special effects, like the "fat" robo in the gas station explosion from 1987 version.

Wow, these are all horrible. What. The. FUCK is that ugly monstrosity in the second picture? And was this crew so amateur that they actually left the creasing, folding, pathetic looking rubber sleeves on his hips? I watched the trailer before looking at these pictures, and I have to say, these pics make me feel even worse.

All it took for SLJ was some hair, half-a-smile and a nice suit and now he looks like a preacher/entertainer rather than a badass. Wasn't sure I could see him in the Novak role until this. Think it's gonna work.

Silver suit looks so fat/massive in the pic. Looked big even in the trailer but in the photo even bigger. Black suit does look slimmer. But I think the sound effects will help the black suit and the trailer has lots of intense music so only time you really notice heavy footsteps is when he exits that armored car.

Cornish and Kinnaman look like a believable couple in the pic at least. Their on-screen chemistry remains to be seen but so far so good.

I'm guessing the bulky armour in the second picture is a variation of that where he expands his armour to toughen him up in combat situations. It's just taken from a bad angle and looks a bit silly, but in the right picture could look bad ass.

The only thing I'm not linking is the all black suit. I think it looks crap, and considering there are 3 different looks for the character in the film, I imagine it's even mentioned in the film or something that black isn't working and they change it back to silver for the end.

People were shitting on the original suit when they watched it on blue ray, saying they can see the latex and how bad it looked, that was made in 1987 with a small budget, here it is 2013 and they have 100 million dollars and this is the best they could come up with? this shit looks comical to me.
