The music isn't the score for the film, its a track called Hocus Pocus by a dutch band called Focus from the 70's. I agree it doesn't match the scene. Hope its a decent score.

Yeah we know. Just having a little fun. I like all the versions, and it's not that the hocus pocus is bad, but it does not fit this scene whatsoever.

now i know this is a reboot but.... i really dislike the way he moves, his actions in general and the whole dual weilding garb.
I do like his new interface/target system, and i liked the other robocops if thats what they are called. I dont know as 1. i was watching it in silence as im working a night shift and 2. have stayed away from watching/reading any media about this movie as i want to watch it with the mind fully free of any negative or positive influences of fans of the original.

goldeneyegod : | Feels like they don't know how to promote the film, ie a fun super hero movie or a darker more serious movie. Each trailer and tv spot seems to lean towards one way then another way for the next clip or trailer. |
Let's not forget they did the same in 1987. Here is the original's TV spot, even back then they were trying to market Robo as...*gasp* a "superhero."

Yes, but he has a serious trailer, the one showed on theaters. With the reboot, almost every trailer or spot shows him as a superhero...

The point was, that even with the original they weren't sure how to market it.

There's only one way to find out weather its going to be a Superhero movie or not... wait til the release. I dunno, I read the January 2012 Script and yes, I know it wont be the samse.. they changed a lot already from what I saw in the trailers. But, the overtone of the script kinda showed a torn, dark, protagonist. He may end up the hero in the end of the final release, but maybe not the type of "Super hero" that people think.
I dunno, I tend to agree that the original 1987 version, they didn't know how to market the movie, as they dunno how to really market this one. I don't think it will be close to as dark and violent as the 1987 version, not by a long shot, but I think it will stand as a decent rendition of Robocop. I hope its not as corny as the script, but who knows.
I'm really trying to keep the faith that this will be a decent picture.. The suspense is killing me

Padilha has stated many times it is not a superhero film. I have faith here.
