I just picked up a giant OCP banner measuring 6 feet by 10 feet. It has red background, white center with black ocp logo. It is made by Capitol flag co. Out of Texas. I was wondering if this could have been a movie prop or if they were available for private purchase. I have pics just unsure how to attach them. Any help would be great.[/img]

Wow, whatever the case that is a great item. I too was thinking it might be from Robocop 2. It makes sense that they would hire a professional sign maker to make the prop for the film. On the other hand, it could have been commissioned by a fan, but given the size that seems a little unlikely. Awesome find!

Yes, that was my thoughts. I remember seeing this flag in Robocop 2 and I figured it would have to have been a prop due to its size. I'm sure it would cost a good buck to have made.

I do think it's quite possible you might have gotten an actual film prop there. Even if not, it's still pretty awesome anyway!

Just watched Robocop 2, I believe this is one of the flags hanging in the ocp conference hall when robocop confronts Cain. Appear to be proportioned to the one I own. I'm fairly confident it's a movie prop.

I found it on eBay. The seller was a store that people drop things off to and they sell. I guess a guy dropped this off with some other items,
