The pieces are looking fantastic!!! Your attention to detail is great! Just can't say enough good things about your build!
It will be an awesome Robocop suit no doubt!!!

I went ahead and relinked all the original build photos. Here are some of the recent updates. Quite a few so bear with me....
I know you guys are probably sick of seeing the chest piece by now but I felt compelled to modify one of the details even when I told myself I wasn't going to touch the chest anymore. The chest to me is one of the most important pieces of the suit so I really want it to look as close as possible to the real thing.
The valve detail on the lower left on the original file was way too small for my taste so I went ahead and cut it out and rebuilt the whole detail with styrene from scratch. Looks much more screen accurate now.

Also went ahead and printed the Auto-9, came out great.
That's it for now, more to come.

I pretty much had to scrap Do3d's upper back piece and build my own from scratch using styrene. Reason being is because the original abdomen section is way to small. I'm right around 6ft 185lbs 33 inch waist and it had to be upscaled quite a bit to fit moderately well, I figured this out after printing everything the first time and had to reprint.. After upscaling the back piece, the upper part of it bows out/sticks out too much in the back and won't fit within the chest and back piece armor. I didn't mind building it because now it's more accurate . Thought I would share a few photos of the build process and is pretty much what I've been doing with the smaller details I've added or rebuilt. Enjoy.
Still have to do body work and smooth everything out but I'm happy the major work is done,

I also wanted to show how butchered the arm gets before adding in new details to help those who might consider doing these particular modifications. You can kind of see the process on how everything comes together, you might have to fill in a couple small blanks. Extremely tedious and time consuming but well worth the work. Enjoy.
Of course it still needs body work but all the major modifications are complete. Most of the missing details were built again with styrene and a couple 3d printed details for the knobs. Here it is first butchered.

I played around with the gloves today to see how they are going to fit. Overall a pretty good fit. I still have to get some elastic, velcro, and various other things to get them completely attached and functioning properly. Here are a couple pics of everything hanging loosely and unattached.
I'm thinking of selling 3D prints of the gloves in kit form in the future to those who might want to add a Robocop glove to their collection.

Pretty much finished both legs. These were a lot of work, hours and hours of body work. Sanding, filling, sanding, filling etc...... These pieces also both had lots of major modifications done to them. Here they are in their glory,
I use needle files to do all my line work and clean up. Without needle files I can honestly say I probably wouldn't be able to do this project. They have been such a huge help make everything look nice and crisp.

I completely resculpted the leg bevel to look more screen used and pronounced, came out awesome.

Here you can see the sharpness of the details. I also added in the screw detail. I had to be careful because after looking at screen used pics of the leg pieces the screw detail is symmetrically different on each side. Luckily I paid attention and got it right the first time.

Got around to doing the helmet. Usually in suit builds I've noticed the helmet is usually the first thing done so I guess I'm working a little backwards. I figured it was time to roll around and get this done to my liking. Here it is with some progress. I don't have it completely wearable yet so It's kind of loosely fitted on me but it will be pretty easy to sort out and get it working.
Had to do some modifications to the helmet and back panel to get it more accurate.

Gorgeous. And making the gloves like that could be a pretty nice idea, as they´d look less "rubbery" and more metal due to the materials. Good job!

Seconded, always seem to be a need for gloves here and there, I can see a couple folks going for helmets as well. I'd go for a spare Auto-9 if I had some extra dough. Anyway, still all lookin' fantastic. _________________ I don't wanna pay that, PhotoBucket. Now maybe you haven't heard, but I'm the guy in old Archive. So hows about you just shit snow for a year and I'll figure out something else. Sayonara!
