I think I have a spare light bar that was retired that I had as an extra during my build. Shoot me a message and I'm sure we can work out a deal.

The light bar is 48" with the side lenses attached. 40"to 42" bare bar and add the 3" end caps . I got a bigger bar and cut it down . I took out all the broken halogen lights and put in leds with a light controller. Not very bright though . Here is an Ebay one.

Guys, here is an update. Sorry for the late response. So I worked hard on my car, and got it looking pretty good. Here are some pics.

Not to bad?? Right guys?! Well here is an update. I was on my way home in it when a lady decided to rear end me. Sad I'm not happy about it at all. The car was totaled out, and I'm back at square one.

Good new is, I have a lead on another one. I found a true 1986. I hope it pans out. I'm going tomorrow to look at it. Fingers crossed!

That fucking blows man! That said, I don't see it as totaled, but if that's what you're telling your insurance, not on me to argue on that, lol. Hopefully you'll have better luck with the '86.

Yeah it sucks, and I didn't tell the insurance anything. The lady that hit me, insurance adjuster came and totaled my car out because of the age and how much it would cost for repairs. It's ok though, because they valued the car at $1700 and I only gave $600 for the car, plus they let me buy it back for $85 lol. So I still have the car, and great news! I picked up the 86 yesterday. It's almost in too good of shape to covert, but it's going to be a sweet ride when I'm done. I'll post pictures later today.

Ok guys! Things worked out and here is the 86! She looks amazing and in really great shape considering she's 31 years old. It only has 110k on it and even has working AC! I'm stoaked lol. Let me know what you guys think. It's almost too pretty to convert. And yes that is Ecto 1 behind it. Smile

I know! I completely agree. Now I'm questioning if I should convert it or flip it. LOL

I'd flip it! There's so few of these Taurus's left in such good condition, it should be kept that way and just given that extra shine, then sold on to someone who appreciates the vehicle and will give it a good life use!

What I would say that needs to be done, is to find one, not so pristine, but definitely not a wreck, one that you can bring back and give it a new lease of life, save it from just becoming another hunk of twisted, tangled metal on the scrap heap, by converting it into a Robo1!
